The marketing self assessment is a tool that evaluates eight core strategic competencies, broken down into forty eight observable characteristics. The tool measures each of these characteristics against the following two dimensions.
Impact - How much of an impact would this characteristic have within your current business/market place?
Capability - How do you rate your business's current performance against this characteristic today?
The output of this tool not only highlights potential gaps and areas for remedial action, it also helps you understand your strengths while highlighting areas where resource may be redeployed for better effect. The self assessment is the first step in creating your blueprint to commercial excellence.
